Requirements and Process - (All Volunteers, Coaches, and Board Members)

Obtain Your PA Required Clearances (All Volunteers, Coaches, and Board Members)

Click here for the Child Abuse Certifications (PA Dept. of Human Services) is required of volunteer coaches.

Click here for the Criminal History Record Certification (Pennsylvania State Police Reports) is required of volunteer coaches.

Click here for the Federal Criminal History Certification (FBI Reports) is required of all volunteers who have not resided in PA for at least the previous 10 continuous years.

SAFESPORT (Use the Same Email utilized for PA WEST):
SAFESPORT is a 90 minute, free online training required of all coaches. A yearly refresher course is required.

- If prompted, log in to the new account you just created.
- Click on “Menu” and select “Catalog.”
- Click the Start button for “SafeSport Trained – U.S. Soccer Federation”
Upon completion, save your certificate for upload and sharing.
SafeSport – Required (new or refresher each year)
Save the certificate, each year a refresher will need completed and upload a scan into the SAPT slot next to their clearances in their record in the online registration system. It should automatically update, but does not always.
