In order to be in
compliance with the Pennsylvania West Soccer Association (PA West), the Kiski
Area Soccer League (KASL) requires that all coaches be required to have on file
with KASL a current copy of the Act 33/34 clearances. Additionally, you are required to sign a
Coaches Code of Ethics and adhere to
any other Risk Management policies and procedures that may be adopted by PA West
or KASL.
Your completed clearances
need to be received by KASL prior to the start of the soccer season. The
Act 33/34 clearances are valid for two years. Failure to
supply these documents will disqualify you as a KASL coach.
You can now certify online
through the PA West Online Risk Management System! Every Coach, Assistant
Coach, Manager, Trainer, (Club) Board Member, and Volunteer must certify for
Risk Management.
There is a $10 charge to
Apply or Reapply when your current clearance expires. Your
clearance will expire two (2) years from the date of submission. This
fee is directly allocated to running a National Background Check. You
can pay by check or credit card. Once completed you
may submit to KASL for reimbursement.
