Travel League Program

KASL TRAVEL PROGRAM

KASL's Travel League is our competitive soccer program that plays against teams from surrounding towns and communities. It provides younger players a comprehensive training and playing experience to prepare them for more competitive programs in junior/senior high school and Classic/Cup Team soccer.

📌 Program Focus

Travel soccer is designed for players and parents who are willing to make a higher level of commitment in time, effort, training, and competition. We strive to create an environment where skill development—rather than wins—determines success, and long-term benefits matter more than short-term gains.

  • Educate players and parents on club values and age-appropriate player development.
  • Keep teaching first with flexible program rules.
  • Focus on learning and fun rather than scores and standings.

âš˝ Games & Travel

Games are played on Sundays at both home and away venues. In most seasons the schedule is roughly 50/50 home and away, though that can vary.

For D6 and D5 teams, the furthest away games are usually about 1½ hours away, with most opponents much closer. D4 teams may travel a bit farther, up to about 2 hours for some matchups.

Parents are responsible for transporting players to away games.

📊 Travel Divisions

Travel teams play in a tiered division system: D6 is the entry level, with D5 and D4 above it. D3–D1 fall into the Classic Division, which is an even higher level of competition.

Our travel program is usually best suited for players who have shown interest and ability beyond most in-house recreational players.
