In-House Registration

IN-HOUSE REGISTRATION

Open to ages 4-10. All players will be placed on a coed team and will receive training throughout the season to better their skills and confidence. Our league has teamed up with trainers from Legends of Pittsburgh, who are past collegiate and professional soccer players. They will teach skills and provide the guidance for your child to learn and love the game of soccer.

Details

All games & practices for In-House are held at the Northmoreland Park Soccer Fields

No experience is required

Players will receive guidance & training throughout the season from experienced coaches & volunteer helpers

KASL In-House has teamed up with trainers from Legends of Pittsburgh, who are past collegiate & professional soccer players. They will also run training sessions to teach skills & provide the guidance for your child to learn & love the game of soccer

Practice will typically begin in late-March/early-April, for the Spring, and late-August/early-September, for Fall. Exact dates to be determined.

Players need:

shin guards
cleats/sneakers
ball (size 3)
water bottle
reversible jersey (additional est. $20 fee for those without or needed new)

*We also have donated equipment to share (cleats and shinguards) if you are in need.

Additional Details (U5 - U10)

7-8 games per season with at least one weekly practice session (weather permitting)

Practice days are as follows:

Tuesdays and/or Thursday evenings.

Note: Additional practices may be added as per coach’s decision
Practice night per age group will be determined based on overall sign-ups

Games are on Saturday mornings between 9:30am & 11:30am; U5 – U10 follow the game format on Saturdays

Little Dribbler Program Details

Our Little Dribbler program is a developmental program that introduces young kids to the sport of soccer with a skills/drills/scrimmage session that takes place 1x per week

The Little Dribblers program will only have a weekly practice, there will be no games.

KASL In-House Fall 2024 Registration

For our in-house program, all teams are coed and games are played at Northmoreland Park on Saturday mornings. Practices are held throughout the week with the coach determining the days of practice.

U4 Little Dribblers (2021 birth year) is an introduction to soccer that will be one night a week for skills and a scrimmage.

Each family will be charged the volunteer fee of $35 which will be refunded upon completing a volunteer opportunity.

Equipment to be supplied by the parent of each child for Practices & Games-

Reversible jerseys, available for purchase from the league at an additional cost of approximately $20.
Mandatory shin guards, worn under the socks.
A water bottle or sports drink labeled with the player's name.
Sneakers or shoes (baseball cleats are allowed, but front cleats must be removed; no metal cleats).
Mouthpiece (optional).
Removal of all jewelry.
Soccer ball appropriate for your child's age group:
Size 3 ball for 5U, 6U, 7U, & 8U players.
Size 4 ball for 9U and 10U players.
