InHouse Venue change for Saturday April 6th

Dear KASL Families,

We hope this email finds you well. We're writing to inform you about an important change regarding this Saturday's games due to the recent weather conditions.

Unfortunately, due to the significant amount of rain we've experienced in the past few days, the fields at Northmoreland Park will remain closed through Saturday. This decision prioritizes the safety of our players and ensures the preservation of the fields for the remainder of the spring season.

However, we're pleased to announce that we've secured an alternative venue for this Saturday's games. Thanks to the gracious support of Dr. Dave Keibler and the Leechburg Area School District, we'll be playing at Veterans Memorial Field. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them for accommodating us at such short notice.

Please note that in order to accommodate all the games, there have been some adjustments to the schedule. Your team's time slot may have changed, so please refer to the updated schedule below to find your new time slot.

We understand that these changes may be inconvenient, but they are necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our young athletes this season.

Here are some additional details about the venue:

Location: Veteran's Memorial Football Field, 147 Logan Ave, Leechburg, PA 15656

Surface: Turf (normal soccer cleats are suitable)

Seating: Bleachers are available for spectator seating, and lawn chairs are also acceptable

Facilities: Restrooms will be available on-site

Concessions: Unfortunately, there will be no concessions available, so please plan accordingly

Jerseys: We will have jerseys available for distribution

Field Assignments: Signs will be posted to indicate field numbers

Parking: On-street parking is available, and timing between games will allow for a smooth transition

Refreshments: Snacks and drinks are permitted, but smoking is prohibited


We recommend arriving earlier than usual to ensure you find your team and allow us to start the games on time.
